After a 2 year break during Covid, ballroom dance group classes have returned to Vancouver in full force, and we’re having fun once again!!!
These ballroom dance group class packages give you the opportunity to learn directly from Teacher Joel of JC Dance Co. Widely regarded as one of Vancouver’s best ballroom dance teachers, Joel blends his 18+ years of professional dance teaching experience with his knack for keeping class fun, light and engaging. Come as a single dancer, with a partner or better yet, a group of friends! Everyone is welcome.
Below are the ballroom group class schedules & registration for discounted packages.
Beginner Ballroom Group Class
- Geared towards total beginners
- Mondays @ 6:15-7:10pm, start on ANY first class of a dance (ie. Tango 1 of 2)
- Note: No classes on Monday, March 24th

- Wosk Auditorium – Jewish Community Centre, 950 West 41st Ave (@ Oak Street)
- Paid parking lot, or free parking along Willow and neighbouring streets
- Total of 12 classes, each 55 minutes in duration
- Package price is about $25 per class per student (Daily drop-in is $35 per class per student) – That’s more than 4 FREE CLASSES when you purchase the package below!!!
- Free admission to the Monday evening Open Practice Session from 8:30 – 9:50pm
- Beginner ballroom dances taught:
- Waltz
- Tango
- Social Foxtrot
- Quickstep
- Cha Cha
- Rumba
- Jive

Intermediate Ballroom Group Class
- Geared towards ballroom dancers at a bronze level or higher.
- Mondays @ 7:30 – 8:25pm, start on ANY first class of a dance (ie. Tango 1 of 2)
- Note: No classes on March 24 (spring break)
